Bogged down by heavy news, this is s time to find goodness in the situation and do things that make us feel fulfilled and good. On the one hand, I myself binged on the Ozarks series on Netflix with my husband and taught my son my childhood recipes for brownies and snicker doodle cookies. These are feel good (and taste good) to do list accomplishments.
On the other hand, in order to keep some sanity in the house I’m tackling home cleaning projects from my to do list that have been relegated for too long, because they require time and attention, something we all have a lot of these days.
This week – Clean out closets!
1. Take EVERYTHING out,. Divide into Yes/No piles as you take out. When done, bag/box up the No and remove it from your work area. Open up space to continue working!
2. Wipe, disinfect all shelves, vacuum floors, and disinfect your closet handles. And spray with WD40 the hinges if necessary
3. With a clean slate, re-closet!
4. Don’t get overwhelmed; pick one closet at a time. You have many days to go. But once you get one done, you’ll feel so good, you’ll be geared up to get the rest done.
